YOu may age badly in one area of life and gracefully in another. And, you may get younger in some. For me, I have arthritis so my limbs are aging far less gracefully than I would like.
My hair is still 25 -- no signs of gray at almost 73. My mind is younger and more flexible than it was at 20. I am a writer and I find I have all the words I need when I need them.
I do forget things like phone numbers, but if my latest book sells well, I will hire someone to write all those little things down for me! Seriously, I always had trouble remembering names and phone numbers but I can tell you to the penny what it costs me for insurance or how much I will owe in taxes next year!
Getting old can be wonderful for some and not so great for others. Everyone will age differently. Some will suffer from many ailments which will limit their mobility, freedom and cause physical suffering.
Others may not have these ailments. But overall, aging "gracefully" is something anyone can achieve - that depends entirely on your attitude.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
