You can take liquids in checked luggage. However, your age could potentially be a problem. I'm not sure where you're from (you say 'holiday,' which seems to imply you're probably not from the US), but if you're under the legal age for drinking in your home country, it could POTENTIALLY be an issue.
It also depends on what sort of alcohol you're talking about - as far as I'm aware, in France it's legal for 16-year-olds to consume beer and wine. If you're talking about something hard, that's not legal. It's likely that the worst thing that would happen is it would be confiscated, though.
I've never heard of anybody getting arrested anywhere over the transport of alcohol in checked luggage by minors, even in the US where the drinking laws are far more strict. (Theoretically they could do it, I suppose, but I've never heard of it being done.).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
