The Bakers were 'foster' parents, not adoptive parents. This sounds like a 'heartbreaker' for all involved but the court ruling sounds fair. Anna Mae will be removed from the only parents she has known for all of her 7 years.
The Bakers will lose a child they have certainly grown to love as their own. It sounds like Jack and Casey have been fighting for the return of their child for years. I do hope Jack & Casey have had contact with Anna Mae, visits and phone calls...and that they are not complete strangers to the poor child.
I had not read anything about this case before, so don't know the details of the circumstances surrounding Jack & Casey putting Anna Mae into the 'foster care' system....except the ones you mention. There is no 'win-win' here...My heart goes out to all of them...but it seems to be a fair decision. More.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
