Should a daycare center structure it's learning environment for infants and toddlers?

If the daycare is accepting infants and toddlers into their care, it definitely should provide structure activities for them. A child is learning and exploring at this age so I agree with the structured learning activities no matter what the age.

I believe they should provide age appropriate activities. There is a difference between structured activities and a structured routine. I believe infants need a structured routine and toddlers need both a structured routine and structured age appropriate activities.

Most definitely they should but they need the right people to do this and these days it is getting harder to find good people.

The information and ideas presented in this document are intended to help caregivers set up environments for infants and toddlers that promote young children's health, safety, and comfort, meet their developmental needs, and provide a comfortable and convenient place to work for the caregiver. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
