Should Congress extend the 8,000 First-time Home Buyer Tax Credit, Expand the Tax Credit, or Let it Expire?

I'm hoping they extend it. My daughter wants to buy my old house from me, and I'd love to let her buy it with this extra incentive, but she's not in a position to do it until next year. I think it's possible they will extend it, but I don't think they will increase it.

I mean, I know where I live, 15k could BUY some 'okay' houses outright...LOL I realize it's a percentage of the cost of the house, but the incentive isn't necessarily for people who already have a house to go out and get a better one, you know? It's to get people who have never thought they could get a house to buy, or at least to consider it. Whether I agree or disagree with the politics of it, if it's still available when my daughter is ready to buy the house, I hope she'll take advantage of it!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
