Basically, precalculus takes the same concepts from algebra and applies them to functions that appear more in calculus. There are also additional topics like trigonometry and other transcendental functions (basically any other functions that arent polynomials, i.e. , e^x, ln x, arctan x).
The definition of what pre-calculus exactly is depends on the school, but I would say that if you did moderately well in algebra, then precalc shouldn't be any more difficult for you than what youve had. Personally, I completely skipped trig and precalc and went from algebra to calculus, and I really didn't have a problem.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
