Should I take my Lisinopril if my blood presure has dropped a bit below normal, or should I miss a dose?

Suggest you consult your doctor as low BP is not a good sign.

Thanks for the answer. Problem is, I have to wait till tomorrow and at the present time my BP is around normal. If I take it my BP drops.

I have decided to nibble on a dose and wait till morning and check it again. Hope I have gotten this BP issue straightened out. If not, will continue.1Oracle1 1 month ago .

LOL I figure as long as I wake up each morning I am OK. My BP is staying between 137/ 78 to 122/67. And this is without using the meds.

I was having HBP that ranged up to 211/101. I am taking an anti-bacterial Septra DS twice a day for celluitis on my ear. (No idea how I got that!) but it seems that maybe I had an intestinal bacteria infection as well and that might have been the cause of the HBP readings.

Thanks Quad :) 1Oracle1 1 month ago .

Glad to hear from you. Yes some complications can do that but to be honest check with your Dr and see if you can avoid the bp meds as long as the bp is in control as you say it is. Side effects of BP meds are not good.

You know sense you have a low bp now I wouldn't want to cause it to drop any lower you should have a advice nurse where your dr is located I would let them know that your bp is dropped and you need to ask them what to do.

I missed getting to my DR today but am going tomorrow for them to take a BP reading and maybe he might advice me from it. Will keep this posted. Thank you also Softbabe44 1Oracle1 1 month ago .
