Does having a high pulse rate with normal blood presure cause any particular health risk?

My doctors have never shown any concern about this, but I have been curious. I often have a resting pulse between upper 80 and 100, without the use of stimulants including caffine.It runs a little higher if I have stimulants. My blood presures is nearly always below 140/80, usally something like 126-132 / 68-72.

My pluse is just always high, even after resting for quite a while, over a hour. Right now, I have been sitting just typing for about 35 minutes and my plus is 88. I had 1 bottle of coke, at lunch time, about 5 hours ago, so I did have some caffine today.

I also exercised today.Is there any reason that I should be concerned about my high pluse rate? I read something recently that talked about longetivity and it said something about living longer if you had a pluse below 60. If your doctors are not concerned, you're probably fine gh resting heart rates may be due to activity, fever, stress, an overactive thyroid gland (hyperthyroidism), anemia, stimulants (caffeine, amphetamines, decongestants, asthma medications, diet pills, and cigarettes), and various forms of heart disease. In general, people who do a lot of cardio exercise will have lower resting heart rates. Most likely, you haven't exercised enough during your life.

You really should try to do more cardio exercise to see if that lowers your resting heart rate. I've read several articles that suggest that people with low resting heart rates live longer. So even though you probably do not have an immediate cause for concern, in the long term you're probably going to be better off if you do more cardio exercise.

My doctor also says, "no"... I have low blood pressure (usually runs 110/65, on average) and a high heart rate (resting is about 78) and was also concerned about this. My doctor said I should only be worried about it if I start fainting, feeling cold and clammy, and have trouble breathing. When I start doing that, he'll prescribe hypotension medication, if needed.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
