I always check out the "unanswered" list first. To subcatagorize might make it easier to find the questions you want but might end up too cumbersome, but why not just have a sort feature with the options you mentioned, Current Day, 3 days old and over 30 days?
I answered seven old, unanswered questions in the last couple of hours, and they have now all been given "No Best Answer". So my immediate advice for my fellow Mahalo members is not to answer an old question! So what now for older, unanswered questions?
And what will become of a question if it receives no answer in the first five days? I hope this new system works out. However, it hasn't started too well for me.

If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
