If he serves his time, sure We can't punish people forever. He did a stupid, disgusting, and despicable thing, but we have a system to deal with that. Children should see that even if you're a major athlete, we have punishments for crimes, and you can't get away from those punishments just by being rich and looked up to.

Children should ALSO see that after you're punished, you can come back to society and get a second chance. We can't just keep punishing people forever even after they serve their sentences. Besides, what Vick did isn't quite a universally abhorred act.
