Should Obama shut down oil refineries because they are unsafe?

It's obvious the whole offshore drilling plan opening up was just to try to look bipartisan. Now that he has an excuse he'll shut down ALL offshore drilling, mark my words.

I feel the same way! Our oil drilling is pretty safe. Most likely a spark or lightning strike caused it.

(That rig being in the Gulf Coast.) But im still puzzled at how the oil didn't get "plugged up". I heard on the news how other countries have safeguards like this. WHY NOT THE USA?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
