When it comes to vaccinating it is such a touching topic that this is only something that parents can decide. Newborn babies are immune to many diseases for about a month after birth for they have antibodies they got from their mothers. Surely parents will want to know that there are ill fated situations that can spur from vaccinating their children for vaccines are not 100% safe.
Some people do not like the fact that we are still in an experimental phase with our vaccinating practices and that the public isn’t aware exactly what the vaccines are made of since there is no full ingredients list available for the public. Vaccinations have been associated with many neurological disorders, like encephalopathies, epilepsy, convulsions, ADD, LD, autism, mental retardation, depression, anxiety, CNS disorders, paralysis, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, nerve deafness, blindness and SIDS. Even with the risks involved some people believe it is best to vaccinate for it has done some good in our world by reducing disease.
Before vaccines, many children died from diseases that vaccines now prevent, such as whooping cough, measles, and polio.
I personally feel that you should allow your child to get the major shots. It is important for your child to stay healthy, and I feel strongly that a doctor knows just a little bit more than I do. There are several people who make a huge scene and deal about not igving it to their child, but how do we know they are not just trying to get attention or go against the "hype".
I allow my children to get them, unless I am just strongly uncomfortable with the idea, in which case that is honesty up to each parent or couple to decide together what is best for them.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
