Should Ron Paul say "The PARTY is over" and run for Predident not as a Republican or Democrat but as an American?

Please don't answer this question if you can't give it proper attention. If you know your history, you understand one of the reasons Rome fell was because of it's two political factions: The Republic and the Proletariat. The United States is crumbling before our eyes because Democrats and Republicans are now bought off by big corporations and don't seem to be in it anymore for the American people, but for their party's own selfish interests.

FASCISM. If you haven't read Hayek's "The Road to Serfdom" but you care about the future of this great nation, then you should read this book. If you haven't listened to President Eisenhower's speech when he left office and his warning to the American people about war profiteering and fascism, please - I urge you - seek out the video on Youtube or search for the speech online.

The only thing that will save America from ruin is the spirit of it's people, the voice of it's people, and leaders that will take a stand for it's citizens. Asked by VitruvianMe 48 months ago Similar questions: Ron Paul PARTY run Predident Republican Democrat American Politics & Law > Politics.

IT is over as a rep or a demo But,.... It is fixed already and it has been for many many many years. But perhaps Ron Paul can run like Ross Perot and maybe win as an independant, I would guess that maybe from birth the repo's and Demo's are picked out to be predidents . Or if their fathers were from a certain gang so to say then they have a better chance than any of us to be president.

Like with gore maybe he won and should be the president now... But The bush family pulled strings and made him president...For Ron Paul to be blind and stubborn and try to only fit in one of the 2 main parties is not a smart move But as a 3rd party he just might have a chance to win......... Sources: Truth Common sense and the way it is .

Not at the moment I don't think he should run as a third party candidate until they actually select a republican candidate. He has had slowly growing momentum and I think that will continue. If it does come down to it and he isn't selected and then I think he should run as a third party and anyone who votes for the two other parties is definitely putting the nail in the coffin of the country and sorry to say deserve what they get..

No With all due respect, an independent or third-party candidate is not going to get elected president. If it were to happen by some miracle, there would be no support. It is hard enough when a president has roughly half of the Legislative branch supporting them.

What of one with ten percent? Or five percent? It would be a lame-duck presidency from day one.

Having said that, there is still enough room to get other ideas expressed within the current system. Express ideas well, convince the public (through the media) that you are correct, know how to raise funds, and change will happen. Sources: opinion .

Ron Paul wouldn't be that attractive a candidate if he was running as God's other son.

" "Does the two party (Republican and Democrat) system work or is there just way too much power there for us Americans to -" "am I a democrat or a republican.

Does the two party (Republican and Democrat) system work or is there just way too much power there for us Americans to.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
