Should the Chiefs draft Geno Smith at #1?

Chiefs NEED to draft Geno or whichever QB that Reid and Dorsey decide is the best QB in the draft at #1 overall. Under no circumstances should the Chiefs sign or trade for Alex Smith, Matt Flynn or any other teams backup/useless starter. They've been doing that for the last 30 years and the only time it ever worked was with a guy named Joe Montana and even he couldn't get them to a super bowl.

It's a failed experiment, time to actually try and groom their own QB. Anyone that thinks Joeckel is the right pick at #1, I'm sorry but you're an idiot. That's tantamount to saying that going from 2 wins to 3 or 4 wins is acceptable.

See how drafting Jake Long at #1 overall worked out for Miami when they could have had Flacco or Ryan. They now have a free agent LT with injury concerns, still no franchise QB and zero playoff wins. DRAFT THE QB!

Alex Smith. A lot of the Kaepernick hype surrounding the Niners was a bit overdone, considering it was Alex Smith that GOT Kaepernick that "nice start" in the first place. Alex played all of the Pre and right up to Week 8 (or 9?).

He had a concussion and yet his own coach stabs him in the back when he was ready to return. Alex and his agent will USE that as fodder to light a fire in his comeback. Look to see the KC Chiefs to take a serious look at A.

Smith! Fact 1: Alex wants OUT and the Niners cannot afford to pay both Alex and Colin competitive salaries. Fact 2: Colin wants an Alex-type of salary ($9,500,000) compared to his paltry $1,164,610!

Again the 49ers cannot pay both QBs that amount. KC Chiefs on the other hand have lots of wallet space left to give Smith that amount or more!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
