If you're the Jets why would you draft Geno Smith?

They will have to trade-up in the draft if they really want him.

The jets have needs across the board and they realize they need a QB. They brought in David Garrard who will be a stop gap as the jets will more than likely draft a QB late or wiat until next year to target a QB. The major issue would be it the Jets draft Matt Barkley in the 1st round and get yet another USC QB to set the team back for a few more years.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
