Should the Colts trade the first draft pick (Andrew Luck) to the Broncos for Tim Tebow?

No. You take the best quarterback with the draft. It's rare to be able to have the very first pick in the draft and get to pick up a very good quarterback.

Also keep in mind that Luck has beaten John Elway's Stanford records in just 3 years. It took Elway 4 years to set them. Also keep in mind that the Colts would have the first pick from each round this year, giving them a number of picks to help the rest of the team such as the offensive line and defensive line.

You can't just snag a QB later on. And one like Luck or Manning or Elway doesn't come around every day. The other player positions you can just snag.

But Quarterback, no way! There's only a handful of really good quarterbacks in the NFL right now: Manning, Brees, Brady, Rodgers, Rivers and Big Ben. As much as I hate to say it, because I think Peyton Manning is one of the most incredible quarterbacks I've ever seen, I'd rather trade Manning off to get picks than to pass on Luck.

Because with Manning you are only going to have another 3-4 years at most. Actually, from what I've read, I really only see two options for the Colts. Keep Manning, make him a Colts icon and have him train Luck and possibly retire a little early and go out a Colt.

The other option is to not renew him and not pay the $28 million and let him go on the free market. If the Colts trade Manning that accelerates his bonus options. And the Colts would get loaded down with having to pay out a ton on his contract to trade him off.

If they Manning up and he retires early, that still accelerates his money. The least costly option is to not pick up the $28 million option and to let him hit the free market. The next least costly is to keep both him and Luck in Indy.

Honestly, I don't think the Colts team is too bad off. Yeah, it does need some fixing here and there. But remember, just 2 years ago the Colts went to the Super Bowl.

And most of those players are still with the Colts. And the Colts held in there pretty close with some of the best teams in the NFL even without Manning, coming close to beating both Pittsburgh and New England. My opinion, don't go crazy and throw out the baby with the bath water.

I especially wouldn't get rid of the Polians. Bill has been great at finding diamonds in the rough with low picks for the past 14 years. Caldwell I'd probably fire.

My opinion is "Don't pass on the next Peyton Manning or John Elway.

Montana/young was one of a kind and won many superbowls. It'd be more like Favre/Rodgers. I like manning but please don't compare him to Joe.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
