Should the GOP consider forfeiting the 2012 presidential election?

They will only benefit if the country is headed in the wrong direction. They can ensure that it is headed in the wrong direction by rooting for failure. The first thing they can do is to refuse to raise the national debt limit.

That can bring us into another recession. If the country is not headed in the wrong direction, the Democrats can conceivably keep control of the White House for another 8 years after Obama left office. In fact, just 2 years ago, the Republican Party faced extinction.

That could happen again. That is why they are fighting hard to make sure the economy will not get better.

Obama will probably be able to tilt the Supreme Court to the left, with a second term. No benefit there for the GOP. Nice try, though.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
