Oh, people have a fondness for the-sky-is-falling rhetoric. In 1994, "Will the Democrats ever recover? " In 2008, "Will the Republicans ever recover?

"The pendulum swings all over the place, and it always swings somewhere else in a few years. My estimation is that the Tea Party candidates will win some seats in November, costing the Republicans some seats they might have had with more moderate candidates. They will accomplish little to nothing, since they'll be the least experienced members of Congress.

Right now that inexperience makes people excited, because they can promise anything with no track record to point to. Actual experience smudges that. Further, the economy will recover, and people will be less "angry" about a set of taxes that are already lower than the had 10 years ago and have been cut since Obama came to office.

So in 4 years, or 6, or 8, I suspect this will be a footnote. They'll have moved on to the next flash in the pan. Who knows, that flash might even be a flirtation with moderation.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
