Should The Government Take Your Lottery Winnings?

Not sure you can pick out who is on welfare or not just by the looks of them but I am sure many do. Interesting answer lol.

In canada, lottery winnings are tax free. If you win $10,000,000.00 , you get that amount.

Lottery winners are rarely millionaires, so the winners should be taxed half in order to contribute something. They will probably lose it soon, anyway.

Canada its tax free :) but I think its dumb that they would take tax off something you won when they take tax for everything else even use working we have to pay the government to work our asses off.

Although they may not have paid for 50 cents of your lotto ticket, a large number of the people I see purchasing lotto tickets appear to be on welfare. So, for you Shawn, they are pitching in 0%, for the guy buying the ticket before you, they're paying 100%.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
