If we return to the 2006 levels of 2006 then old people will eat dog food and children will stave just like they did back then. Thank God that there is a liberal out there to teach us these history lessons.
It's a stupid idea. And, even if we go with something like that, 55 is an unreasonable cut-off age. Most people who are 54 have been paying taxes for 35+ years.
Now, they're eight or so years from retirement, and the government is going to change the rules? BS! If there were no where else to make cuts, I might agree.
However, why aren't we asking the leeches in society to "eat their peas?" Let's radically change welfare - you no longer get your own home, but you live in a dorm-style building. You don't get to choose your own food - it will be provided through a cafeteria.
That alone will save us billions every year. Then, we get rid of all pork - ALL OF IT! There's no reason to screw the working man yet again.
Let's really talk about shared sacrifice.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
