Of course all global leaders should adopt a peaceful motto. I would think that would certainly be in the best interest of everyone. .. there is always a but.... but.. many countries do not agree on what should define peace.
The Olympic motto is "Citius, Altius, Fortius" in English.. Faster (Swifter), Stronger. In the eyes of many world leaders they see themselves as having this motto already .. just not for the good benefit of all people. Maybe they would want to be faster, higher and stronger in a military sense or in a terrorist sense etc, etc. Those world leaders would think they are doing right by themselves and their people but I would not see it that way and many other people would not either.. it is sad and seemingly unfair but true none the less.
You are so right to say that global leaders 'should' adopt a peaceful motto.. now we all have to agree on just what is that motto and how it will be peaceful for everyone. The Olympic motto is a good place to start."Citius, Altius, Fortius" than tyranny, evil, and ignorance.. If only we all could agree. This year the Vancouver Organizing Committee (VACOC) used a piece of the Canadian National Anthem for the motto in the 2010 Olympic Games.
€œDes plus brillants exploits†or "With glowing hearts".. we will all need those to get this job done.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
