Should the U.S. use private contractors to spy, pilot drones, or directly influence the war effort?

" Certainly there are probably those among us who would say so. The moral answer is a resounding "no". We fight for what we as Americans believe in terms of a democratic world.

Anything that falls short of that premise we need to stay away from and certainly do not need to hire other people to do. That makes "war" a commercial "for profit" venture...in terms of big government, that becomes big business...not a way you want to go morally.WB.

Yes. My father is a civillian contractor for Northrop Grumman and he has managed almost every major uav program since the late '80s-so i've spent many years with the kind of people who do these jobs. My father was a fighter pilot for 20 years-and a vietnam veteran with a purple heart.

He can retire whenever he wants BUT HE DOES'NT BECAUSE he loves knowing that HIS JOB WILL SAVE A SOLDIER'S LIFE! He used to BE the guy that got shot at while flying over enemy territory-he KNOWS what its like to eject at 5000 feet while doing mach 4-IT SUCKS! Most people who do these jobs now-do it so they can prevent others from HAVING to do it.My dad always says "if I can save ONE american soldier from unnecessary harm-my whole career was worthwile.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
