You should make your logic agnostic of the frame rate. For example all your animations should be computed based on a frame_delta_time. This delta_time is computed using the average time it took to render the last frames (or the last one).
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
