1 I'm one of those Socialists/Communists and couldn't disagree with you more! You've obviously been brainwashed by the Bush Republicans and Conservative Right (which is usually wrong). There are a large number of faculty members who have Liberal leanings, true, but there are also a number of those who are Conservative as well.

I doubt very seriously if - out of over 1500 faculty members - there is a single one who falls into the category you describe. You need to get your head out of the sand and the 1980's and realize that times have changed. Peace.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
