SLEEP...how did you sleep last night?

Oh the feeling of a good night's sleep...so nice I had my first good night's sleep in almost three weeks last night. We got a new puppy who is completely adorable, but a total morning dog. He wakes up at 6am or earlier every day.

Two nights ago, he started crying at 4:30am. It has been tough. Last night we tried something new and different.

We played him hard...tired him out like we never had before, then we let him get tired while in our bed. Once he looked tired we put him in his crate and hoped. This morning at 6:15 he whimpered quietly to tell me he had to pee...so I took him out.

I was mostly asleep, but I was able to get him out before he peed in the house, big victory. Then I put him in the bed with me. I cuddled him up in my arms and went back to sleep. It was the best morning I have had in a few weeks and it felt good.

My fiance was thrilled that he was able to sleep in this morning, he didn't even wake up when Eddie whimpered to go out. I was happy to give my fiance the morning off. He has been working like crazy and didn't need to be any more exhausted than he already was.

We have been so tired that we started fighting, we never fought before. I guess the good thing is that we were able to learn how we fight and make sure that we are really ok as a couple. It was a great thing, I think. The hard part was that I have cried for dumb reasons twice in the last week.

I guess I cry when I'm tired...sucks to be a weepy mess while eating a steak dinner at Applebees, LOL. We sleep on a regular mattress with the head raised up because my fiance gets acid reflux. It was weird at first, I always felt like I was falling off the bed.

But now it's awesome. I feel weird when I sleep on a level bed now. Sources: my life MrsOrangeNikki's Recommendations Sleepy Litl Puppy Ted (Teddy Board Books) Amazon List Price: $4.95 Used from: $0.12 I would love to have a sleepy little puppy :) .

I never sleep, which is why I am still here! It is a chronic problem for me. I also think I've made it worse by never expecting to sleep.

I've tried pills, alcohol, reading, tea, herbal remedies, and I still can't sleep. I have always resisted sleeping, even as a child. I never wanted to go to bed.

Even when I'm totally exhausted and am just on the edge of falling asleep I somehow wake myself up. I am so jealous of my husband, because he can take naps. I'd give an arm and a leg to be able to take a nap.

And invariably, when I DO have the time to sleep in, and am FINALLY in a dead stupor, the PHONE rings at 9 A.M. And it's usually nothing important - something like an 800 number or something, and then I can't get back to sleep. I walk around like a zombie all day. I hardly get anything done.

This Askville doesn't help, cause it gives me something to do when I can't sleep! Sometimes I think one day I will just fall down dead for lack of sleep. It worries me.

But not enough to go to bed, cause I know I won't sleep! .

Usually I don't sleep until nearly daybreak, but here's the only way I can get to sleep: It requires a very cool house and a very hot bath. Take the hottest bath you can stand, then get out with your body and hair dripping wet. Do not dry off, but wrap your naked (or as close to naked as you can get) body (or with wet clothes on) in a blanket or comforter, walk through a cold house and collapse on the bed (still in wraps).

Don't know why, but I sleep best with dim red nightlights. Grape juice helps me sleep for some reason -- as does the fragrances of Balsam, Brut Cologne, Christmas trees, winter or Christmas fragrances, baby powder, wintogreen, peppermint, frankincense myrrh and rosewood incense My main problem is I don't really want to sleep. I'd rather do creative projects of my own..

Slept ok.. I slept ok, got kinda drunk and just passed out really. But I woke up around 11AM having to pee really bad. I just have a regular mattress..

Hahahahahahaha... :) everytime i'm sleeping according to my friends and family i'm not moving everytime i'm sleeping. I'm in just one posotion... hehehe.....

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
