Slow AIR startup when too many files are in directory where application was installed?

I haven't heard of this before, but after looking online, I did find this . It might be a problem with your OS' restricting you access. Either way, you might want to look into the user's local storage instead of the applications.

Files distributed with AIR application are digitally signed. If signatures are verified on each startup, this may explain why it happens only in release. Thousands of files may be worth of packing in zip archive.

It's easy to extract them with any smart zip-library and single zip file will decrease install/uninstall time.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
