I'm going to write out this long answer, and it's going to get deleted, watch. I'm going to edit this so I can still get my two points worth. So hold on.
I don't have any advice on getting around your religion's and family's rules and such. I think maybe you should simply make recordings to post on the internet and maybe if you're ever home alone. You don't need to know how to play real instruments to make music, but I hope you're prepared to study.
Because we're entering the wonderful world of music theory. Music theory makes tons more sense if you can play piano. The piano is literally a visual guide to the relations between notes, scales, and chords and such.
If you don't have instruments, that's okay. It would be really useful if you had an iPad so you could download a piano app, but if you don't, you can probably find one on the computer. The piano should act as your visualization.
There's a ton more that goes into piano, but that's not important. The visualization is. Now you're going to have to learn how to read music.
Sucks right? It's not as hard as it may seem. This site teaches you how to read sheet music, and and it has a ton of other music theory related lessons too.
You don't have to be some kind of musical genius to make pop music, which tends to be very simple, but knowing as much as you can will certainly help. Here's the site. http://www.musictheory.net/ (I'm still level 1, links aren't clickable.
You'll have to copy and paste.) In addition, here's a virtual piano online. http://www.virtualpiano.net Now if you have an iPad, there are some simple music apps that can really help in creating the background music. Garageband is the obvious one.
I use 'Music Studio' or something. They have a free demo. The full version is $15, but it's worth it.
These apps are also available for iPhone/iTouch, they're just miles easier on an iPad. Music programs are generally kind of expensive. A very popular one is FL Studio (http://www.flstudio.com).
You can probably pirate that somewhere, but I'm not going to go into detail with that, mainly because I don't want to be held responsible for your computer getting some kind of virus. Just Google how to find and use torrents, and be very careful. Now getting labels to buy your songs.
It's either, post online and pray to get noticed. Perform at small venues and pray to get noticed. Or hire an agent.
Agents are the only ones who will bring your songs to companies and such. Actually, I hope I'm right on this. I'm not 100% sure.
I know more about how to get voice-acting jobs than music jobs. Sorry this is all probably not making sense. It's like 2AM where I am.
I've been up 48 hours. My vision is zooming in and out. But I just hope this can help in some small way.
Good luck.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
