People like yourself fail to realize that an absolute ceasing of all tectonic activity, i.e. - no earthquakes, would be more of a "sign of the apocalypse". As earthquakes have always occurred and will continue to do so, these particular quakes are a sign of business as usual.
Earthquakes have been happening probably for as long as the earth has existed. They tend to come in clusters because once the plates shift in one place that triggers other shifts. It has happened before and the earth always settles back down again and there are fewer earthquakes for a while.
Tsunamis are the natural result of an earthquake below the ocean floor. How gullible do you have to be to think a magic man in the sky is shaking the earth and pushing up waves as some sort of "sign?" Centuries ago, people thought that eclipses were signs of some kind of impending doom.
Now we understand what causes them. We know what causes earthquakes, too. Why are there still so many ignorant, superstitious people around?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
