You need to respect her religious beliefs and customs. That is the way they are taught to act it has significance to them, and that should be respected. No different than acknowledging local customs and modifying behavior appropriately when travelling to other countries.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
