So when Republicans pass a bill in the House and the Dem Senate blocks it... can I call Dems the 'party of no'?

Because the Democrats want to spend money when our debt to GDP ratio is over 100%. In other words, the government is spending a whole lot more than it is taking in. It may seem odd that the Republicans are against tax increases that would increase government revenue.

But if the Government raises taxes, GDP will drop, and we will experience a huge recession challenging the Great Depression in effect. So the republicans are doing the right thing.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
