Son in Law wants to place a restraining order on us so we can't see the Grand children?

In America anyone can file suit no matter how silly or trivial. IF you are serious about seeing your grandkids, don't go to court without a lawyer. Years ago I had to file one against my ex-husband, I didn't hire a lawyer because I was expecting a quiet chat in judge's chambers.

Boy was I naive! My ex showed up with a lawyer, who requested my two witnesses leave the courtroom (a clever ploy on his part. ) My heart was sinking as it seemed the judge was bias against women who "cry wolf.

" I did not accuse my ex of physical violence, because he wasn't, I accused him of harassing me, which he was. In the end, my ex sank himself. He thought the court room was like some sort of sit-com, where he could stand up and talk when ever he wanted and say whatever he wanted.

He ticked off the judge by his contempt of court. I was granted a restraining order with no end date that I faxed places for YEARS as he continued to harass me. Long story short, you may only get one chance, go prepared!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
