Preface: You need a little confidence building with yourself. You can do that with practice. 01.
You got your wish to dance in the show, so you feel lucky at getting gigs. I wish you had mentioned the name of the show. It could be an important element.
02. In fact, you were one of the Principles. Very much weight on your shoulder as a Principle to carry the show.
You hold everyone else together, but you were out of sync & kept forgetting the choreographed moves & routines. 03. It's performance anxiety, also, worry of not being able to keep in sync.
Be glad it was just a dream. Nonetheless, it is still important that you deal with the problem. 04.
You need to decode your dream. You do that by taking the key elements in it & what they represent to you (not anyone else, or from a book) & placing them within the context of what is going on in your waking reality. 05.
Here are the elements: The Show (name of the show), you wanted in, got in as a Principle, forgot the moves & routines (direction & out-of-sync) & humiliation in public (the audience & Pros, who put their trust in you to deliver.) 06. If this is not about dance in reality, the name of the show will be a big clue as to what. We often dream in clichés.
Something is going on that you really want to be a part of, but you have to prove yourself (audition, test). That part you are not worried about, because you cast yourself in a principle role. Once you got the role, though, you got shook & felt that you were in over your head, because you couldn't pull it off.
What is going on in your life that you feel in over your head, or are fearful of making a fool of yourself in front of others? Being out-of-sync & forgetting direction (blocking) may mean that you feel out of place & just can't get it (forgetting). 07.
Not to panic. Make a list of deadlines going on in your life. Write them down in order of importance.
Whatever it is that you feel unprepared for, start at the top of the list & practice & prepare until you actually visualize everything effortlessly. When the deadline comes, jump in & don't think about it. You will do just fine.
Lack of preparation is one of the biggest anxiety monsters. It can create sleeplessness, panic & awful dreams. 08.
When you catch yourself ruminating about ghosts (anxiety about things that don't exist), turn your attention to practice & preparation & you'll soon get your mind off the gobble-dee-****. Good Luck & Warm Wishes.
TO me it feels that you are reluctant to do the things that you day dream about, and you fear that if you do become a dancer you will forget the moves answer mine http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?...
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
