My dear Russian friend. I find your perspective of your country to be so interesting because I have never heard of an accounting of your country such as this. The only stories I ever heard (from all outside sources, media, government, educational people, and some actual Russians) was that your life in Russia was hard and that it was terrible.
If your country was really as you have depicted it, then you do make it sound almost idylic. If it is all like you actually feel and believe, then I will say that I regret that you no longer have the land that you love. All I can say is that your country seems to be suffering from the same disease that many others now suffer from...greed.
And THAT is the answer as to why it all changed in your country, and the rest around the world.
The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) projected in 2001 that the federal government would erase its debt in 2006 and be $2.3 trillion in the black by 2011. The difference between projected and actual debt in 2011 can be largely attributed to: $3.6 Trillion – Economic changes (including lower than expected tax revenues due to recession) $3.0 Trillion – Bush Tax Cuts $1.4 Trillion – War in Afghanistan and Iraq $1.4 Trillion – Stimulus spending in response to the 2008 Financial Crisis 2008 financial crisis was caused by bankers actually gambling with billions of dollars.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
