I know that.............I'm concerned that by it being closed up with mold the spores could of infiltrated into the vents,etc. And contimate food stored in the future. We keep this frig int basement only for extra space for food for the holidays so it is rarely on. I'm not sure thoroughly cleaning the interior surface makes it safe for future use.

Clorox will do. The spores are just about everywhere, So that is not a concern that you can protet aginst. The temperature will do the trick.

Wash it out with white vinegar, but don't rinse, then leave the doors open to air out for a few days.

Clean it out with a clorox solution. You should probably wear a face mask to make certain you don't breathe in any spores.
