Ten quick questions for open-minded Christians?

That's a lot... may take a while... First you are not open minded, shown by Your statement "So far, I have recieved what I expected." I'll try anyway... God does not change his mind... He is perfect and does not make mistakes. God is the creator... He made the rules... It's not open for discussion or debate.... Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

(Heb 13:8) Second: . THE BIBLE contains the mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners, and the happiness of believers. It is the Final Authority.

Its doctrines are holy, its precepts are binding, its histories are true and its decisions are immutable. Read it to be wise, believe in it to be safe, and practice it to be holy. It contains light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you.

It is the traveller’s map, the pilgrim’s staff, the pilot’s compass, the soldier’s sword, and the Christian’s charter. Here paradise is restored, heaven opened and the gates of hell disclosed. Christ is its grand object; our good its design; and the glory of God, its end.

It should fit the memory, rule the heart, and guide the feet. Read it slowly, frequently, and prayerfully. It is a mine of wealth, a paradise of glory, and a river of pleasure.

It is given you in life, will be opened in the judgement, and be remembered forever. It involves the highest responsibility, with reward the greatest labour, and with condemn all who trifle with its sacred contents. And remember the Bible has no errors and or contradictions whatsoever.

And is as for current today as the day it was written Third: It's all about Jesus and God is in control. Man has always thought he is smarter and has tried to "help" God out. God needs no help.

The Bible means what it says and your opinions don't count. If you want to do what Gods will is for you... don't just read but Study the Bible... 2Ti 2:15-16 (15) Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (16) But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

(1Pe 3:15) But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: Hope this helps Jeffy.... some day when you grow up (Level1) You'll be able to ask a good quiestion with a lot less ranting....

The essence of idolatry is the belief that God has some physical form or character that can be understood by us. To speak of the attributes of God is to say something about God's nature, and the only things we know about it are what God has shown and told us in Scripture, and shown to us through Jesus. Using your own "theologies" is not the right answer.

God never changes. He is not free to act contrary to his nature that is permanent. God's moral character does not ever change.

“I the Lord change not “(Malachi 3:6). “There is no shadow of change with God” (James 1:17). We have the information that really matters, more than enough to live by, yet we're still dealing with something beyond our abilities to describe or understand -- which means that, when pushed far enough, even the most truthful of the words, descriptions, images, and theologies we use to describe God will always miss the mark.

These questions defy simple answers. Edit: you want people to AGREE with your point of view, Jeffery. That is why you are upset.

Yes, Jesus IS the answer, however HIS words are in the Bible. And what does Jesus keep repeating to the people over and over? "The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority.

Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work" (John 14:10).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
