Tesla: What do you think of the strategy of going with the high end sports car first, and then working down to a more practical 4 door car?

It makes sense to me for a start-up car company. As a start-up Tesla was always going to be very limited in how many vehicles it produced so getting more money for a premium vehicle is logical. The Ford Model T was not really introducing a new car technology but rather a new manufacturing process, one that lent itself to building many lower end cars.

The upcoming Volt seems more mid-level, using the power of a big manufacturer to hopefully get a critical mass of the cars on the road. The Prius has been very successful starting at the mid-level. The low end attempts at new technology, like the Sinclair, or the GEM series, seem to wind up with critical weaknesses limiting them to small niche markets if that.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
