A thorough checking... every time you are up for a PCS. Otherwise, they are only reviewed by your PCM when there is an on-going health issue. Some are better than others about keeping up to date and seeing if there are reoccurring issues.
With my sinusitis, every time I get a new doc I ask them to go back through my charts to see how I have responded to treatments and what happens when I have a flare up, and what happens when an idiot PCM decides to ignore my warnings about what it coming!
I know there are times when a civilian's medical records are checked (souse or children of the service member) by the military. Over seas assignments is one area. It is examined because not all locations overseas can accommodate all medical conditions....
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
