Here's a good strategy for getting out of blue Step One: Observe your feelings and listen to the conversation in your head without judging what you observe. Jump start It's hard to change the way you feel with your brain directly, if your brain or mind is already "down. " But if you can take physical action you can sometimes "jump start" things. Exercise is one way, and there should be some type of music that gets you moving.
A little fresh air and light helps too. Think anti-goth. Peppy.Perky.
Smile if you can. Breathe. Dress up a little more than you need to.
Yell, sing, or curse if that helps. Try to eat well. And associate with people who make you feel better, not worse.

Worthy pursuit You are right about the law of attraction. But it depends why you're feeling sad, or bad. The real answer to this must take place on a case by case basis.
Sometimes the way out is the way in. For instance, if you are sad over the death of a loved one, you may need to really delve into memories, feel the sadness. In that case, the sadness may be fundamentally connected to happiness, happiness you had.
But you may be sad for a while. Everything changes. If you're feeling genuinely bad, and someone just says, "cheer up," it can be irritating.
What if you're feeling bad about something you feel is a criminal injustice. Maybe to take some form of action might help transform that feeling. Even if it's not a big crime, proactivity might do the trick.
Just going out and doing nice things (or stay in, send nice emails), could be worth a try. What if you have some kind of chemical imbalance? Maybe SAM-e or a beta blocker might help.(I'm not recommending the latter...but many people report it works for them.) Maybe a change of diet might help.
Exercise releases endorphins, and might do the trick. As a purely mental exercise, sometimes generating gratitude by recognizing good things, blessings in your life, can transform negative emotions to positive. Simple still meditation can help too.

Feelings or Emotions are action signals Usually when you have a feeling, it is a signal from your subconscious requesting an ACTION. Hence E-motion. Obeying your emotion and following this action will make you feel better, improve your surrounding conditions, and raise your frequency automatically.To elaborate, every emotion you have either wants a change in perception or a definite action.
For example: Anger: Someone else has violated a law that you hold to be important. Either change your perception of the law or confront the law-breaker. Guilt: You have violated a law that you hold to be important.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
