The tear in my vinyl pool liner is near the bottom. when I start putting water back in , it stretches out and leaks agai?

As one who knows this aggregation all to well, my first suggestion is to ask the pool store for a large sample piece of excess pool liner (1ft by 1ft should be sufficient. Depending on the size of the tear/hole, cut a section of liner at least 3x's that size. Cut the patch so that it is oval or circular.

Avoid points. Before adding any adhesive, rub the side of the patch that will be adhered to the leak, on the sidewalk/concrete so that the patch has a semi-rough surface. This is key to good adhesion.

Blow off any lose particles. Add glue in circular spiral pattern. Quickly fold over loosely to avoid drying out or loss of glue prior to attaching to leak.Do not attempt to remove previous patch.

Armed with a good set of goggles and a small, wallpaper roller (to smooth out air bubbles), attach patch careful to avoid bent, turned under, or uneven areas. Quickly use roller to smooth out.Do not add water, or allow activity for at least 12 hours. Hope this is successful for you.

Thanks! I will try it this weekend . The water level in my pool is now below the hole which is the size of a dime.

Will this make any difference? Should I put moe water in before attempting to patch it? Doysei Dotsei 1 month ago .

I believe this will actually make it easier to patch since you won't have to deal with disturbing the water as you try to apply the patch. I would let the patch sit 12 to 24 hours before refilling. Good luck!

:) .

THANKS! It seems to be holding. I put the patch on Wednesday and started putting water back in Friday .

So far so good . Again , my thanks. Dotsei 1 month ago .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
