The whore form babylon is a real woman, the "wife". It is not a church on earth, not christian or muslim. She is an alcoholic and was a real prostitute.

Babylon is a place in the world and she lives there. The whore is not any church, it the false teaching of her husband. Maybe god comes to show better teachings one day.
