The iPhone applications you'll like will depend on you and what's important to you. But I recommed the following apps, which are all free, so you've got nothing to lose by trying them out if they sound good. Wikipanion - Great interface to Wikipedia.
Much easier than using the Safari browser to look at Wikipedia. Flixster - Movie reviews, trailers, what's on at your favorite cinemas etc Stanza - Superb ebook reader. Has a handy interface to online free book repositories.
I have fifty books downloaded on the device. Twitterfon - Nice Twitter app Twitterific - Nice Twitter app, now supports multiple accounts. (Free but ad supported) NYTimes - Umm... the New York Times!
Free, downloaded on your iPhone. Lux Touch - A version of the board game Risk. This is the free version of a paid app, but it's enjoyable enough in itself.
If you get hooked, the paid version is a few bucks for lots more levels and maps. Cube Runner - A simple but fun game - pilot a flyer through a landscape littered with obstacles (cubes). Labyrinth LE - A simple game with a wow factor.
The iPhone emulates a classic game of guiding a steel ball around a wooden maze while avoiding holes. Really shows off the iTouch's accelerometer. Free version of a paid app, but good fun in itself.
Last FM - Customised streaming radio, a bit like Pandora. Good way to discover new music based on what's similar to what you already like. Apple Remote - Use the iTouch as a remote control for iTunes on your computer.
IFooty - If you're fan of English soccer, super app for seeing live scores, results, tables, news etc Bloomberg - If you want to know about stocks, currencies, industry news etc, this does the trick nicely There are probably lots of others that are well worth having. Like the Facebook app if you use Facebook a lot, or AroundMe if you often find yourself in places you don't know well and need help to locate nearby banks, restaurants etc.
One game for the iPhone which I;ve been playing a lot lately is Build-a-lot. It's a real estate/tycoon type game. It has good graphics and plays well.
I'd recommend it.
1. Facebook (free) Better than the Blackberry facebook app because you can use chat! 2.
Shazam (free) Ever wonder what song is playing? Tells you the song and the lyrics! Even gives you the option to buy it!3.
MyWireless (free) Pay you bill, check you minutes easy as 1 2 3! 4. Fandango (free) Check movie times get reviews AND watch trailors all at the tip of your fingertips!5.
CBS Sports (free) Get all the latest sports scores at the tip of your fingertips!6. Moron Test (.99) An entertaining yet frustrating game! Although it's very short and boring after you beat it.It's worth the 99 cents.
7. Photogene ($2.99) If you wanna crop pictures, make them black white etc.. this is the app for you!8. Picfree ($5.99) A bit pricey and with rumors of an update in June might be better to just hold off.
This does work though and is the best picture MMS app I have seen.9. Pandora Radio (Free) If you like pandora this app works bugless!10. Google Mobile (Free) All the google stuff you need at your finger tips!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
