Open all the windows. That should allow a breeze to be able to circulate through the entire house. You may also want to open the doors if you need more circulation.
Use battery operated fans. I purchased two at Lowe's Building Supply and at the Dollar General Store. They work very well.
Place seats under shade trees, that can reduce the heat index dramatically.
When it gets really hot I have a very large bandana that I soak in ice water then I then I twist it to get rid of excess water, grab two opposite corners and wind it up to look like a rope. I then wrap it around my neck and tie it like a cowboy. Well, to me it feels like my own personal air conditioner and so refreshing that I recommend it to everybody because it works.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
