TNA Lockdown 2013 at the Alamodome Is A Joke?

TNA Lockdown 2013 Report Card X-Division Title Match: These three guys are sick and drew great reactions from the fans. Nasty botched spot by Kenny King, but even that spot became a highlight. Great way to kick the night off.

Only problem, so much time was spent building up RVD, King, and York that I thought those guys would battle it out with RVD dropping the belt to Kenny King. Why have RVD drop the title one week before Lockdown? Grade: A- Joseph Park Vs Joey Ryan: Why book a match on a big PPV that has not been built up even a little.

Over the past couple of months Park has been getting ribbed by the boys in the back. TNA could have shown Ryan as the guy ribbing Park and this match would have made some sense. Props to Ryan for getting on the mic to earn some heat, but this match was pretty dull.

Grade D Knockouts Championship Match: So the match was solid, I like the Eat-deFeat while holding on to Taryn. But of course Gail Kim and Taryn's blowup was the story, I liked that Taryn's extentions went everywhere. Now we probably will see Taryn in the ring.

She has added nothing as a ref and TNA could save money by letting her go if she can't wrestle. This match should have been in the cage, it wouldn't have changed the outcome but given the Knockouts title match a little more carisma. Grade B Robbie E vs Rob Terry:The match was okay, Terry hit some big moves but needs to learn some more basic moves.

(Has the guy ever run off the ropes?) Robbie E was squashed again cause that is his job. Slightly funny at times but otherwise forgettable. Grade C- Tag Title Match:Best Match of the night.

I would have a hard time picking the best wrestler in the ring between these guys. GREAT to see Roode back. I'd love to see him back in the World Title hunt come BFG.

Great action in this one. Bad Influence always brings it and Chavo hit Ocho Amigos. Great match and The Champs win again.

Grade A Wes Brisco vs Kurt Angle: This match never made sense to me. Seriously Wes vs Kurt should be a squash match for Angle even if he's blindfolded, one arm tied behind his back, and shot twice in the leg. Yes, Wes took some of Angle's best suplexes and took a mean bump of the cage, but he doesn't belong in a PPV match with Angle.

Now we all knew A&8s were going to get involved but THAT was it. D-lo hits Kurt in the head with the door cage and pulls Wes out. Lame.

Would have been better with the same ending but D-lo was not revealed as the VP till after this match. Grade C- (with no disrespect to Kurt Angle, a wrestling god) Lethal Lockdown: So there is no top this year? TNA has lost the six sided ring, King of the Mountain, buried the X-division, and now the Lockdown top.

Progress? Oh well. Magnus and Joe look good out there together, Somebody strap the TV title to Magnus for a bit.

Knox is here, who cares. Garrett is here, still can't wrestle. Doc is here but TNA stopped pushing him last year.

Sting rocks the weapons and Team TNA gets to hit guys and get a loud pop, that's always fun. Crazy Tower of Doom, which officially makes falling a long way Garrett's best wrestling move. EY to the top rope, no no no, top of the cage.

Elbow and game over. Not the best Lethal Lockdown ever (see Team TNA vs Main Event Mafia) but entertaining. Grade B World Title Match: Lots of history here so my expectations are raised on the wrestling side.

Nice Bully Bomb off the cage and Jeff's Leap off the side into a splash was cool. On the mat the pace was not very good. Kind of disappointed to start off.

But wait, here come the two youngest members of Aces & Eights, will this party ever start! Bully works with Hardy to take out the trash. Here comes a clean finish, nope, never mind.

The bulk of Aces & Eights comes out and Bully turns on Hardy, Hulk, Brooke, Sting, you, me. I enjoyed the turn with the crowd going insane. Good move putting Bully on the mic at the end to wrap things up and twist the knife in a little more.

Grade B Overall:Let's take time to be thankful that Eric Bischoff is NOT the president of Aces & Eights, I may have turned the TV off right there. And Jeff Jarrett isn't involved either. No bad promos coming.

So Bully is president, satisfying enough but leaves lots of holes in the past story line. Oh well, it's wrestling and we are all stupid marks anyway. Now all of the Aces & Eights players are revealed.

This entire story line will continue till BFG. Some good matches in this, a major story line brought to a head and of the four title matches we got one title turned over. Well it was a fair Lockdown but in the end.... Grade B- BQ: Wrestlemania XIII - We wanted Flair vs Hogan, we got a Papa Shango run in followed by the Ultimate Warrior for some reason.

(Yes I know naming any Wrestlemania before #14 makes you old).

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
