Genie, don't get fooled by their scores because most of their games are played on the batting friendly surfaces of Asia where a score of 250 is really not competitive. This was shown by the fact that though they had a decent score they were still soundly beaten. (first game they scored 260 and were beaten by 7 wickets with 5 overs remaining, second game scored 296 and were beaten by 6 wickets with 3 overs remaining, third game scored 249 and were beaten by 9 wickets with 9 overs remaining, fourth game scored 247 but were beaten by 6 wickets with 7 overs remaining).
In their last 2 years they have won 19 ODI out of 50 played, 10 of these were against Ireland, 3 against a second string West indies team. They had one fluke win over Srilanka and one over New Zealand, but remember that they do not play well in New Zealand conditions. When they were here 2 years ago the were dismissed for a little over 100 runs and McCullum and Ryder brought it up with only about 9 overs gone.
Edit: Joeys correction of my memory just reinforces even more how poor Bangladesh have performed over here. And with McCullum, Oram, Taylor, Vettori, Guptill, Southee etc all in great form I don't hold much hope for the Bangladesh team.
They have improved a lot but not consistent enough, on their way to giving good competition to the established teams, NZ is not going to be blown away, as is their wont, Bangladesh, still doesn't know, how to kill off a game, after the good starts, they have been getting. In the next couple of years, they are going to be even better, as their bowling attack is looking very good, with tall fast bowlers, one good spinner/ all-rounder, Sakib already established, Mohamadullah is looking very promising but brittle top order, with Tamim a regular contributor, goodish w/k Rahim, overall team is looking to take a good shape, yet not the finished article, like you are suggesting, how would NZ perform against them, NZ should be 7/10 to win against them, with current good form Vettori & company are in, so its not going to be entirely one sided anymore, expect a tough competition but NZ would prevail in the end.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
