He was a great batsman and we all wish him well for the future but he should nhave done this two years ago.
ODI Cricket will never be the same without Sachin Tendulkar. World Cricket has lost a Gem :(. To answer your Q,I think India has more of a settled lineup in the ODI's and the young players are performing fine while we are stuttering at test level losing series after series.
I think the decision of Sachin is based upon giving a youngster a chance before the World Cup in 3 years to have a established place in the side. Plus his poor run of form in test matches might have a brought a rethink in his plans to continue in the ODIs,As great a player he is its difficult to manage the workload of a slightly quicker format of an ODI like tests for him at this age.So I think this is a well timed decision. I thought he should've retired after the WC but always knew he is the better judge of himself,he can now concentrate on his tests and cherish his glorious ODI career which includes the prized WC as the top of the cherry.
Complete respect to the little Master..
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
