Toying around with Wordpress. Any tips, suggestions for must-have plugins or something?

A contact form plugin, to enable your readers to contact you without needing to reveal your email address. I recommend Contact Form 7. Anti spam plugin, to block comment spam (you cannot imagine how serious are they if you're new to the blogging scene).

Akismet is good, from the same guys who built WordPress. SEO plugin. Not a must, but why not?

Wait till this little plugin caught someone, you will be happy you installed it. No Self Pings. Because pinging yourself doesn't make sense.

Yet Another Related Posts Plugin. Introduce your readers a list of related articles from your blog, so that they will keep reading, and hopefully like your postings and eventually subscribe to your blog.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
