Trying to buy a LCD/Plasma/HDTV. Any recommendations on good models would be helpful, peeps :)?

Stay away from plasma. Although they are really cheap right now, you will end up paying the difference in power bills over time and most manufacturers are moving to LCD or LED sets. I personally love Samsung for quality and design.

Sony makes a great TV, but they are pricey. I have a Phillips set and it has great resolution, contrast ratio and response time. I would look on the user/editor reviews at CNET.Com before purchasing a set.

I was able to find my Phillips 47" LCD 1080p set on craigslist. Com for 850 with a 7 channel surround sound system.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
