The difference is that Twitter is all about the status messages. In Facebook, it's only one facet of a much larger program. Facebook doesn't focus on status. It focuses on pictures, videos, updates, etc. Twitter's entire company is all about those 140 characters.
Facebook is trying to capture some of Twitter's magic. But I don't think Facebook will ever be the same thing as Twitter. On Twitter, you have conversations with one or multiple people based solely on those status messages.
On Facebook, you have to get both parties' permission to even see the updates. It's a less open platform that's less friendly to discussions over status messages. Oh, and when you join Twitter, you can be confident that the company isn't selling all your personal information (and that of your friends) to the highest bidder, as Facebook does.
From what I know the way it differs is that with Twitter you are updating your status for a wider audience(appears in public timeline). Any one can follow you(unless you make your profile private). With Twitter your status is the primary focus.
Twitter makes it easier to share and speard word much faster. With Facebook, status is a part of a larger application which evolves around Photos,Videos, Applications etc. Status just seems like a tiny drop in the whole application and does not get the focus.

Managing friends and social networks isn’t exactly convenient these days because there are so many online services and communities to help you stay in touch with and keep track of other people — Facebook, Twitter, Ning, Plaxo, FriendFeed, Loopt, Brightkite, GChat…the list just goes on and on. One thing you can do to make it all a little easier is to sync your Facebook and Twitter accounts so that the status messages you enter on one site show up at the other too. 1) Search for “Twitter” in Facebook and add the first “Twitter” application that shows up in the search results.
2) Allow Twitter to access your profile. 3) Log into your Twitter account (via the Twitter application inside Facebook). Now your Facebook messages will also show up in Twitter!
5) Allow status updates from Twitter back to Facebook. Well, as you can see below, it worked! Learn more about building your brand and growing your audience with our comprehensive guide to marketing on Facebook.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
