Turkey or Ham, what's your preference for Christmas dinner?

Though you cannot go wrong with either one my preference is ham. Turkey is the traditional dish for Thanksgiving and ham is the traditional dish for Christmas.

Can never go wrong with a Christmas ham. I don't think I've had a single Christmas without one.

I would have to go with Ham. I'm still sick of Thanksgiving turkey.

Ham but only because it's closer to bacon. Lol Seriously though - I'm not a big fan of turkey. :).

Turkey. Even though we have it for thanksgiving, it provides those awesome sandwiches for the bowl games.

Well, since I'm just waking up from my nap after eating my Thanksgiving turkey, I think I'll give the ham a try.

Turkey, of course. Ham, in my opinion, is way too salty.

Most people are divided on this issue, like my family for example. That is why we always have both.

Given the two choices, I'll pick ham, simply because there's still turkey in our freezer from Thanksgiving.

Definitely Turkey. I had a mishap with fetal pig dissection in high school and ham was forever ruined.

I prefer ham, after having turkey for Thanksgiving. But this year I'm going completely away from both. I'm having seafood this year, crab cakes.

Turkey. Ham is reserved for New Year's and Easter.

I'm vegetarian, so I'm going for roast veges. :) ..but, having been a meat-eater for most of my life still, I'd say Ham. It's just so much yummier, isn't it?

That salty cured taste. Hard to beat. Turkey is a bit of a crap-shoot depending on how well it's cooked (and it's a big bird, so hard to cook well), and which cut you eventually end up getting.

Turkey, deep fried ... shaken, not stirred.

I honestly do not think it matters what you serve, since the holiday is not about food. I believe that your family and friends would be happy with whatever you chose, just as long as you are together for the holiday, and everyone is healthy and happy. You could go with a nice pork roast even.

Ham, because one usually has turkey for Thanksgiving. That is the traditional meal. So why would you want the same meal for the next holiday.

I would suggest having goose or duck if you want a bird or lamb. All three of those have some tie in with the Christmas season.

Turkey. Plus, there's a lot of sodium in ham.

Everyone just had Turkey last month on Thanksgiving. Ham? We eat it all the time.

Remember as a kid, there were certain foods you only ate once a year, on holidays, and it made them that much more special. Why not start doing this again. Why not have goose on Christmas?

It tastes sort of like duck, but with a little bit of a beefy taste.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
