Two people moved in with my brother in law (unknown to me, the property owner) He said they would pay rent but havent. Its been a few months and they haven't paid anything. Brother told them to leave and they won't.

We served a 5 day notice and told them we would file a forcible detainer if they weren't out in 5 days. The Squatter said we can't do that because they don't have a rent agreement. The oral agreement was they would pay $300 a month rent.

Also my brother found some of his stuff in an unknown backpack hidden out in the yard. Can we just call the police and have them removed for trespassing. We're afraid if we wait for the judgment they'll steal more stuff.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
